Acesur is the leading national group in the olive and sunflower oil sector in Spain. With more than 180 years of experience, Acesur has established itself as an expert in the complete cycle of olive grove management. This experience is reflected in all its activity, which is carried out in seven plants distributed throughout Andalusia and Castile, covering processes such as milling, refining, bottling and marketing of olive oil, as well as the extraction and preparation of vegetable oils, especially sunflower oil. It also produces and distributes vinegars, mayonnaise, sauces and dressings. Under more than 20 brands, including La Española, Coosur and Guillén, Acesur sells top quality products in the domestic and international markets, offering the most complete line of products in the sector. It is the main bottler of olive oil in Spain and the leader in the extra virgin olive oil category. In fact, one out of every five bottles of olive oil sold in Spain belongs to Acesur. In the area of sustainability, Acesur has a division called Enersur, which works on the efficient management of energy consumption and on increasing the company's self-sufficiency. It has increased the use of renewable energies, such as biomass, and promotes the valorization of by-products, consolidating a circular economy model. It also focuses on the treatment and reuse of wastewater, the promotion of local suppliers and the production of packaging and auxiliary materials that are recyclable or made from recycled materials.
Acesur's international presence is also noteworthy: it exports its products to more than 110 countries, representing approximately 50% of its turnover. It is the leader in the growth of bottled olive oil exports from Spain and is among the four largest exporters and bottlers of olive oil in the world. Its relevance is notable in key markets such as Germany, Russia, Australia and the United Kingdom. La Española, one of its most emblematic brands, has consolidated its position as the Spanish oil company with the highest sales in Latin America, occupying privileged positions in countries such as Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador and Brazil. In addition, Acesur's subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, the United States and Brazil have strengthened its presence in these markets. In 2022, Acesur opened a packaging plant in Suffolk, Virginia, United States, which had already been operational since the previous year.
