Netasa La Chinata

NETASA (Norte Extremeña de Transformados Agrícolas S.A.) is a completely family owned company, founded in 1975 in Plasencia (Cáceres). More than three decades later, it is still based on the same pillars on which it was created: to offer its customers the highest quality and the most rigorous control in its 'La Chinata' Smoked Paprika. Thanks to these premises, and after a rigorous selection process, the Denomination of Origin 'Pimentón de la Vera' included it among its member companies. This distinction consolidates 'La Chinata' as a brand of quality and guarantee. The name 'La Chinata' comes from the name of the town (Malpartida de Plasencia) where the founder of the company, Florentino Oliva, was born. Three generations later, their children and grandchildren continue with this exciting work, incorporating small innovations that respect the traditional production process.

The company, which follows the strictest processes in its production, is certified under the demanding IFS standard. Currently, 'La Chinata' Smoked Paprika enjoys great international prestige and can be considered the most recognized brand worldwide in its category. It exports to more than 60 countries and is present in the most important supermarkets and stores in the world.
