Pago de los Capellanes is synonymous with Ribera del Duero and the slopes of Valdeorras, where the most beautiful way to love a place is practiced: making honest, pure wines of lasting elegance. In connection with the land and traditional knowledge, the winery respects the value of time and pursues excellence, without ceasing to dream, work and enjoy the passion and the fruit of cultivating the vineyard. It all began in Pedrosa de Duero, in 1996, when Paco Rodero and Conchita Villa, partners in life and project, founded Pago de los Capellanes. For many years before, the Rodero family had been cultivating a privileged estate called Capellanes. It was there, among the vineyards, where Paco and Conchita built the current winery. Since then, more than 25 years ago, they have taken care of the fine ink vines to capture in their grapes the deep and timeless character that defines their red wines.

In 2014, driven by the search for new horizons and the fascination for great white wines, they came to the granite and slate slopes of Valdeorras. In this labyrinth of hills and valleys bathed by the Sil River, they found Godello vines full of character. Thus were born the wines of O Luar do Sil, an authentic essence of their landscape of origin, full of life and natural harmony.
